Types of Graffiti

There are two common types of graffiti on of them is tagger tag and the other one hip hop graffiti.

Tagger tag

The first one is related to the individual person who writes as a graffiti tagger. The tagger produces their own style because the main idea is to achieve and develop their unique style to their written “tag”.  For write their tags they need some tools such as spray paint or felt markers.

The tagger has an important ambition that is to demonstrate their talent and abilities; they want to obtain the fame within graffiti culture.

Gang graffiti

The main idea of this type of graffiti is establish recognition create respect, intimidation and also mark their area.

Is very common see new creations of gang graffiti when a new gang is formed, but when the graffiti  gang stop , means that does not exist anymore or has involved in other kinds of activities and they do not want to pay the attention by gang graffiti anymore.

Memorial graffiti

This type of graffiti often commemorates the mutual commitment of a couple, or simply records a person's presence at a particular moment. Often this type of graffiti is dated and is left untouched for decades, offering a look into local historical minutiae.
